The Winesett Awards for Library Research recognize creative and original library research completed by Radford University undergraduate students. The projects and essays by winners and finalists are published in this online journal. Copies of the prize winning papers are archived in the Winesett Awards for Library Research Collection, housed in the University Archives. Prize money for the award is funded by the Winesett Endowment. To learn more about the donor responsible for the Winesett Endowment, please refer to "Hazel Grove Winesett: The Best Friend," a biographical essay by retired University Librarian David Hayes.
