Faculty: How to Place Materials on Course Reserve

McConnell Library’s Course Reserve Policy specifies the types of physical material that we will place on Course Reserve.   Reminder:  as first announced in March 2012, the library no longer offers an electronic reserve service. We recommend that you make electronic materials available to your class through D2L.

To place materials on Course Reserve, please submit the following information to the Reserves Supervisor (reserves@radford.edu):

  • Course name and number
  • Title and any other relevant information (such as edition) of all materials you want on Reserve
  • Loan period information  (1, 2, or 3 hours; or 1, 2, 3, or 7 days)
  • Your course syllabus

Alternatively, you may print and deliver the Course Reserves Request Form to the Library’s Front Desk, along with your syllabus and any personally-owned materials you want on Reserve. Library staff will gather any McConnell Library-owned materials on your Reserve list for you.

For assistance, please contact the Reserves Supervisor.
